How often

How often

How often do you need me to tell you;
“You’re the only one for me”
I`m not runnin` round` and cheatin` on you
Always been true

The life we`re livin is hectic and hard
but remember we got each other
and we must never, must never part
you must have faith in us

They say; “ life`s never meant to be easy”
but you made it easy for me
We`we had some rainy days, but the sun did/ has always shine through
And with you, I know it always will

How often do you need me to tell you;
“You’re the only one for me”
I`m not runnin` round` and cheatin` on you
Always been true

They say; “ life`s never meant to be easy”
but you made it easy for me
We`ve had some rainy days, but the sun did always shine through
And with you, I know it always will
with you, I know it always will
with you, I know it always will

Quit that smoke

Quit that smoke

I told you once
Now I’m gonna tell you twice
even though you never listen to my advice – Shame on you

The message on the box is that you can die
If you love me, why can’t you try
Quittin’, it will do you good
The TV is telling you the same old story
You can die and not with a glory ,
exept for the one you will get in the crematorium
Shame on you, shame on on you

Our kids are shoutin’ they hate the smell
I’m afraid you’ll get a hell.
You oughta know by now
You sneakin’ out of bed early in the morning
feelin really, really, really horny
not for me for that nicotin
but you awakes me when I hear you cough

Your skin is turning grey, your sight is goin away
the toothgums is bleedin, your bones are getting weeken’
that’s the price you have to pay, won’t get away
Kols, cancer, heartproblems too, nothin’seems to be stoppin’ you from
smokin’ ……Shame on you
Shame on you, what you do to yourself

Started smoking when you were 13 years
At that time you had no fears
Thought you would live forever
Now at the age of 46 you should take the hints
and start listen to my advice
You know by now won’t live twice
Shame on you what you do to yourself………
It’s a shame on you what you do to your family
It’s a shame on you, shame on on you

The Demon is waiting (for you)

The Demon is waiting for you

In the dim light of the morning
The first scream of a life
A new human is crying out
The clock begins to tick toc
You don’t know where you’ll come to
or what you will become
But the Demon is waiting patiently for you

The Years they start rollin by
slowly at first, and you don’t mind
There is so many years left
and so many things you wanna do
The question is: will you

In your last hour the Demon
finally will haunt you down
maybe he will eat you
from inside out
maybe he will kill you slowly
tear your brain apart
The Demon is waiting waiting patiently for you

And if you are lucky
he will cut your throat
No more pain and suffering
The Demon might be your only friend
In the end

And when it’s game over
and the delete button is to be pushed
Did you get to do the things
that you wanted to
or didn’t you find the time
or did you walk on blind
The Demon is the time and now you ain’t got nothing left

Class of 64

Class of 64

10 years since the last time
We all met
Where are these years now hidin’
What did we forget?
I recognize their faces
And the way they were
People never really changes
Their personality is still the same

How are you,
How have things been
Oh, that’s great, sorry to hear
I know it’s no other to blame
But you’re still lookin’ the same
Hey, good to see you
And we must meet again

In the midnight hour
People really open up
Some are dancing
And they don’t seem to wanna stop

Now the party slowin’ down
The time really went fast
But this class party
Guaranteed won’t be the last
But that was no surprise
This evening ended up so nice
Only 5 years till the next one
London, here we come

Three o’clock in the morning
And the last drop is swallowed down
So much have been spoken
And the room is startin’ swingin’ round
Time to go home…

16 Hard years

16 hard years

Started our firm back in 88,
at that time I was feelin` mighty great
Thought that it was a piece of cake
worked each day till it was late
but the bank’s interest was too high
so in 1991 the firm almost died

Learned quite a lot those early days
specially that you can’t trust a bankers face
but we came out like the winners back then
even managed to still be friends
Didn’t care if the sun did shine
sittin’ in my office till almost got blind

So what had I get besides a troubled back
The debt was paid off, but I felt like in a sack
Some of the staff were always sick
started wondering maybe I caused it?
After a while, I did learn
they didn’t care for me nor the firm

Well, we took the money and got away
after workin’ 16th. hard years without getting much pay
got so tired of all that shit
When the offer came up, I grabbed it
Don’t care what people may say
cause now I’m goin`my own way

and it feels gooood
it feels gooood
it feels gooood

It isn’t easy

It isn’t easy

It isn’t easy, but we decided to make a try
somethin’ we wanted to do before we fade away and die
cause when you come to the situation
with lazy days and no temptations
You gotta find somethin’ new to do
or else you are through
as a creative person you are through

It isn’t easy but sometimes you gotta take a chance
It isn’t easy to know but now everythings already arranged
And we’ll take this chance with an open mind and bad thought’s left behind
We are told that this will be fine
but one day, we will all be gone away
what we planted may remain and stay

Now we’re old enough to know
no tree ever grew into heaven
So when you roll the dice
don’t bother to tell us how many eyes you found
cause we did it for ourself
but if anyone is pleased that’s nice

It isn’t easy but sometimes you gotta take a chance
It isn’t easy to know but now everythings already arranged
and we’ll take this chance with an open mind and bad thought’s left behind
We are told that this will be fine
but one day, we will all be gone away
what we planted may remain and stay
but one day, we will all be gone away
what we planted may remain and stay

I was wrong

I was wrong

I had never expected this from you
You who always told me ‘bout the truth
But I was wrong, so wrong ‘bout you

Friends told me, to stay away from you
said you had a history, now I know you do
and I was wrong, so wrong, ‘cause I trusted you
They were right, and you did prove it too

Even though I doubt it, now you may get
some short kind of financial success
But your cheatin’morality is a broken down mess.

You oughta know by now that everyone can see
what a dirty’ liar, you became to be
So you are wrong, we all see through you now.
And I was wrong, so wrong ‘bout you

You said you were so thankful,
cause I had helped you so
At the same time you made a plan,
to take what you needed
and then to go (and you did)

I spend 2 years workin’ with a lie
You had a chance but you didn’t even try
You had a hidden agenda,
earning money by usin’ mine
I’ll admit it now I was deaf and blind
and I was wrong, so wrong,
I was wrong, so wrong trustin’ you
but you are wrong, wrong too

Glad it’s over

Glad it’s over.

How can you try to fool me this way
it’s shinin’ through your eyes that you don’t wanna stay
and now it’s becomin’ clear to me – the time has come
to be free………again
So please don’t tell me another lie
cause I ain’t gonna start, start to cry
you ain’t gettin’ no more tears from me
I’m looking forward to be free……again

Cause I’m glad now that it’s over
Feelin’ alive and free again
I’m so glad now that it’s over
now I’ve can realize myself
maybe surprise myself
gonna find somebody else
to love.

Why did you try to fool me that way
after so many years your eyes do say
there ain’t love any more
when you leave please close the door
So please don’t tell me another lie
cause I ain’t gonna start start to cry
There will be no more tears from me
I’m free again just wait and see

Cause I’m glad now that it’s over
Feelin’ alive and free again
I’m so glad now that it’s over
now I’ve can realize myself
maybe surprise myself
gonna find somebody else
to love.

The Day may have come

The Day may have come.

Lately, I’ve been wondering if the time has come
maybe my thoughts are wrong
but as the time keep runnin’ and we ain’t gettin’ nowhere
we may have to face it baby, might never get there

So many years together, havin’ fun
now I feel like it’s all been done
Now I need a change, have to move further on
The day may have come

Once, I believed that we would make it
But we did’nt understand
Baby, we blew it, never took our chance
maybe it was just another romance

So many years together, havin’ fun
but now I feel like it’s all been done
Now I need a change, have to move further on
The day may have come

Please, give me something to hold on to
show me that you love me too
I still do, now I need love in return from you
and if not, lets face it our love is through

So many years together, havin’ fun
but now I feel like it’s all been done
Now I need a change, have to move further on
The day may have come
The day may have come
The day may have come

The King

The King

Saw him in Sun Studio. He had his feet upon the desk
Sleepin like a baby cause he hadn’t got time to rest
Workin’ his power out, the battery got flat
Marion gave him a microphone and he started to rock

And the stars were shining, shining oh so bright
and he became our king on the scene, in a golden light
Cause he was greater than us, it was easy to see
Sam hadn’t enough money, he had to leave

After 23 years of singin’, still on the top
but he’d started takin pills, and just couldn’t stop
and eaten his power out, the battery gone flat
Parker gave him a microphone, and he started to rock

And the stars were shining, shining oh so bright
and he became our king on the scene, in a golden light
Cause he was bigger than us, it was easy to see
His heart couldn’t manage, he had to leave

Now, he’s drivin’ in heaven, in a big fancy car
Got a crowd of disciples around him, he’s a famous star
They all come to see him, The American King
They give him a microphone and now he starts to sing

And the stars are shining, shining oh so bright
and he is our king on the scene, in a golden light
Cause he is greater than us, it is easy to see
We hadn’t enough in common, so he had to leave
Still he is our king, but he had to leave
He is our King and he’ll never ever gonna leave
